We are currently recruiting for an IoT start up in San Francisco that have just closed a round of funding and are looking at hiring their first dedicated electrical engineer into their team.

You will be involved in full lifecycle development on an intricate IoT product that contains aspects of computer vision, a variety of sensors, and communications functionality. You’ll be primarily designing mixed signal boards, working with Altium, on products that are going to be shipping to their pre orders this year. A background in developing products that have shipped to market would be highly beneficial.

This role is based full time on site in San Francisco. The base salary for this role is in the range of $160k – $180k, with equity, comprehensive health coverage, and 401(k) on top.

Technology you’ll be working on:

• Full lifecycle electronics design
• Mixed signal board design
• PCB layout (ideally using Altium)
• Low power analog
• I2C, SPI, CAN, UART
• Hardware testing
• Design for mass production
• Wireless technology

The following would be nice to have

• Basic knowledge/experience with embedded software (Embedded C or Rust)
• Experience with sensor and/or camera technology
