We are currently recruiting for a Flight Software Engineer to join a well-funded start up in San Francisco who are looking for an engineer to help them in the design and development of their genuinely groundbreaking product. You will be working for a company that prides itself on being engineer led and having a heavy R&D focus.

This role would suit a candidate who enjoys getting in at the ground level of an early stage start up and who wants to build a flight software stack from the ground up.

The base salary for this role is in the region of $150k – $200k, with equity and health coverage on top. This role requires you to be based full time on site in San Francisco, five days a week.

Experience working in a similar role in a high growth start up would be highly beneficial.

You will ideally have worked with:

• C++ or Rust
• Flight software
• Linux, including working at kernel level
• RTOS
• Full lifecycle design including test
• Designing high reliability software
• Hardware knowledge
